Emily Blunt: beauty and skills

We all think of her sour and disdainful in the role of Emily in Devil Wears Prada, or regal and detached as in the film The Young Victoria .. but she will surprise us now becoming Mary Poppins in the new movie Disney: Mary Poppins Return that will arrive to the cinema to Christmas 2018.

It will be up to Rob Marshall to give birth for the second time to the most famous characters of all time. After the rumors of the past few months, Emily Blunt has been officially declared the heir of Julie Andrews. Next to Blunt, who previously starred for Rob Marshall in his Into the Woods, there will be Lin-Manuel Miranda, an artist known for her performance in the Broadway musical Hamilton. Between the notes of the music written by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman original songs, the actors will be confronted with a timeless masterpiece.

The story of the new film will take place in London during the Great Depression and again follow Jane and Michael Banks, which now they have become adults. Michael is now father of three boys and Mary Poppins will be back in the lives of children following a death in their lives. She, her magic and her new friend Jack will donate to the children that joy and wonder that seems to be missing in their lives.

We do not know yet who will be entrusted with the difficult task of the costumes, but it will be a daunting task. We all remember the great classics: the flowery carpet bag, hat pot with field flowers and the many white shirts Victorian, typical of each look of Mary Poppins .. and now dress her in a different way could alter the imagination of the general public .

But now, in the new film, we are in the 30s: the years of Chanel and Schiaparelli, where the woman starts to be more independent and need for comfortable and practical outfits. We wonder if we will see a Mary Poppins more "modern", perhaps with the slightly masculine aesthetic taste of Chanel or those of Elsa whimsical touches.

But as Coco and Elsa, Emily Blunt has a way of making energetic, flammable, confident and ready to dig (curiously in English "blunt" means just that: frank, direct) that it has become an icon of its own.

The beauty and skills of Emily are to guarantee ... the rest we'll find out in December!
